Under minimal supervision, a Facets Business Systems Analyst analyzes a wide range of FACETS configuration change requests for the purposes of determining the technical scope of the change, its impact on existing systems configuration, and ultimately the exact nature of the modifications required to implement the change. Such modifications require a thorough understanding and knowledge of relational database theory as well as technical testing methodologies. Experience:- Minimum of three (3) years work experience with Medicaid Managed care in Business Analyst Position, Configuration, or related business area.
- Minimum of three (3) years utilizing Microsoft Access for analysis, reporting and updating FACETS data or equivalent relational database application experience. Must have ability to build complex queries, reports and macros.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems Technology preferred, or equivalent experience in a business/technical environment.
- Proven progressive attitude toward skills improvement, independent thinking, and advanced technology.
- This position is required to work a minimum of five (5) or more projects consecutively, depending on the size.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Demonstrates understanding and follows corporate compliance of security and confidentiality of data and information.
- Uses data and information to assist in decision making. Adheres to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality of all electronic communications, including, but not limited to, e-mail, telephone, voice mail, fax, and Internet usage.
- Must be an excellent service provider with a true commitment to providing the highest quality configuration solutions on a customer- focused team.
- Must be able to function autonomously and as part of a team.
