Piper Companies is in need of Sr. Systems Administrator for a major healthcare system in Philadelphia, PA . This is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity.
This role will be to provide support for complex issues associated with Enterprise Applications and ensuring that systems are highly available to the end users. Qualifications:- 7-10 years' of System Administration or Engineering experience
- 7-10 years' experience with Citrix is a must
- Experience with Enterprise Applications
- Experience in Virtualization
- Experience with VMware
- Experience in Active Directory
- Healthcare experience is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree is absolutely required
- Responsible for enhancing, supporting, maintaining, control, design and support, of Enterprise Application servers, Virtualized Servers, as well as Physical Servers. Planning, design, and operation of the firm's Enterprise Applications on a Citrix/Virtual/Physical server platform.
- Develop and maintain Enterprise Application/Virtual-related standards, policies and procedures.
- Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery procedures for Enterprise Applications/Virtual/Physical servers.
- Conduct ongoing Enterprise Application/Virtual/Physical server technology assessments, research new related products and features, and develop cost effective recommendations and plans for optimizing the Enterprise Apps/Virtual/Physical environment.
- Develop and deploy new application access methods Single Sign On as well as ensure the Single Sign On solution remains up to date with current versions for both server and desktop client.
