This is a 2nd Shift position. Hours are 4pm - 1am, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the research, deployment, and maintenance of information technology security hardware and software systems to protect company data from being compromised. Collaborates with the Human Resources and Legal Departments to coordinate data preservation and examinations for internal investigations and litigation.
  • Responsible for monitoring of the company's intrusion detection and intrusion prevention systems (IDS-IDP).
  • Monitors the company's proxy and content filtering solution for policy violations.
  • Participates in technical risk assessments across all information technology applications and systems to identify security related issues for the organization's computing environment.
  • Performs computer forensics tasks to identify and confirm employee misconduct as directed by Human Resources.
  • Conducts system vulnerability audits and penetration testing against Windows and Linux systems to identify security configuration concerns.
  • In concert with the computer incident response team (CIRT), responds to network intrusions by identifying the source of the intrusion and associated attack vector(s). Assists in the development and implementation of a remediation plan.
  • Monitors the company's security information management system to perform critical event correlation across all core computing systems.
  • Maintains current knowledge in the best practices and technological developments concerning information technology risk management, to include network and system security as well as computer forensics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience:
  • Typical candidates will possess at least two (2)+ years of relevant experience.
  • High School/GED; Associate's Degree preferred.
