Piper Companies is currently seeking a Technical Director for a customer located in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will be creative yet highly technical, have previous client engagement experience and have deep knowledge and understanding of Digital Platforms and SDLC processes.
Responsibilities for the Technical Director:- Drive strategic planning and budgeting process for the technology within the organization. Develop strategies to introduce new offerings and technologies.
- Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for developing and delivering on digital tactics/ provides technical audits for projects
- Share knowledge, mentor and educate Agency teams with regard to technological vision, opportunities and challenges, including hosting and/or collaborating in Agency training initiatives
- Supports Project Management on vendor Selection/QA planning/bug lists/Website migration- development server set up/transfer of files/Staging Servers- set up/transfer of files
- Collaborate with the appropriate departments to assess and recommend technologies that support internal Agency organizational and promotional needs (e.g. internal Agency website, etc.)
- 8+years experience in marketing technology including 1 year at a management level
- In-depth understanding of front and back-end HTML, XML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript, and .NET
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Familiarity with Audio and Video editing programs, such as AfterEffects, Final Cut Pro
- Experience with and understanding of wireframes/site maps/user flows and test cases
- Experience in authoring data flows
- Experience on campaigns outside the web is a plus, Print, Email
- Deep understanding and sense for how to design and develop for impact on end-user.
- Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 annually
