- Design and promote wireless access network protocol solutions tailored to converged wired and wireless network providers.- Conduct investigations of 3GPP and non-3GPP features in a 4G/5G mobility lab to validate technical solutions, deployment solutions and new services.
- Analyze and evaluate 5G use cases as part of proof of concept demonstrations to inform architecture decisions.- Participate in design and execution of innovation projects which explore novel approaches to wired and wireless E2E network convergence.- Translate broad business and strategic requirements into a set of actionable technical requirements driving architecture/technology decisions.- Develop and maintain industry relationships for standardization coordination and collaboration.- Attend and follow WinnForum and CBRS-Alliance meetings.We are looking for a strategic thinker with broad experience in the wireless industry, including: - Expertise and experience in LTE and 5G NR 5G radio access protocol layers including RRC, MAC, RLC and above.- Hands-on device development experience via operator or vendor company.- Knowledge in 3GPP 5G RAN and core specifications.- Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 specifications.- Knowledge of 3GPP ecosystem and working processes.- Experience with diagnostic test equipment, 4G/5G channel emulators, spectrum analyzer, network monitoring.- Knowledge of Wi-Fi and LTE/5G interworking is a plus.- Knowledge in MSO cable network architecture and HFC plant is a plus.- Hands on experience developing proof of concept working models and demonstrations- Ability to perform and deliver, individually or collaboratively, with minimum supervisionVacancy expired!
