Job Description

We are currently looking for an individual who has experience in completing residential and commercial Sealcoating Projects. Including but not limited to (spray bar application, brush & spray application & ability to work/fix sealcoat machines).

Roles & Responsibilities Include:

Managing and directing crews to perform the tasks correctly & train when necessary

Knowledge of sealcoat preparation to edging, spraying & brushing

Ability to operate air diaphragm and hydraulic sealcoat systems

Read specifications, maps & other data to determine project requirements

Coordinate with Project Manager/Job Supervisor

Ordering and scheduling of material

Patch and finish any type of repair work

Ability to be able to drive and operate large trucks up to 26,000 lbs

Job Requirements include:

Ability to lift 50 lbs plus

Possess excellent communication skills and ability to lead and train employees

Reliable transportation

Valid Drivers license (Required)

Willingness to travel

Listed below are specific aspects of the job that need to be understood by the job applicant:

Our typical work schedule is 5-6 work days a week, weather permitting. We are a "family oriented" business and try at all costs to balance work with family, however, due to traveling in some instances we are not always able to accommodate this during the high point of our season.

We work in a "fast paced" environment. We only have 7 - 8 months a year to work. For this reason, it is imperative that all work is completed on time and on budget. Employees or specific work crews who cannot work at a consistent / productive work pace will not be able to remain employed with us long term. We take our production levels very seriously, if certain employees cannot keep up with the faster pace, we are not able to keep them employed.

We are a "Seasonal Business" and our peak season is from March 15th - November 15th, depending on weather and work load. A core group of employees are kept on payroll through the winter with the remaining being laid off till spring. You are able to find a part time work if you choose or you may choose unemployment if you are invited back to work the following spring.

You are required to come to work ready to work. In short, if you have personal errands to run, need to get breakfast / coffee, cash your paycheck, use the bathroom, pay bills, etc make sure this is done on your own time, not company time.

All employees must strictly adhere to our Safety Program and our Code of Conduct. Employees found to violate these policies will be terminated. It is every employee's responsibility to respect their coworkers, regardless of racial background and to respect and behave properly on any client's job sites. We have zero tolerance for racial slurs, and any employee who does not respect our clients or our client's customers will be terminated.

We are a drug and alcohol free company. Use of drugs or alcohol on company property, in company vehicles or equipment, and on any customer's properties is strictly prohibited.

Any act of dishonesty to include but not limited to: improper hour reporting, theft of company property to include gas, unauthorized use of any company credit cards, lying, misuse of a company vehicle, falsifying company reporting documents, etc will result in disciplinary actions leading up to employment termination.

Any employee who attempts to "infect" our work team with poor morale, low productivity, gossip, poor workmanship, unsafe work habits will be terminated immediately!

Proper Submission Of Paperwork / Complete Records- It is every employees responsibility to make sure their hours are properly recorded on a company issues production report to make sure they are paid for the hours they have worked. In addition, it is every employee's responsibility to make sure that all receipts are properly attached to the production reports for job costing.
