SEO Analyst

pureIntegration is looking for a

• For upcoming launches and new initiatives
  • Work closely alongside product and marketing partners to provide insights around search trends, product naming insights, and organic search performance perspectives
• During development
  • Work closely alongside Product, Devs, Designers, and Copy Editors to provide organic search insights and perspectives while pages are in build
  • Work with PR and ideate with article editors for prep in any announcements or articles that are being published in concert with a launch, or should be published in concert with a launch.
• Post-launch
  • Provide objective insights into performance of recent launches
  • Provide insights on competitive stance
  • Follow-through with any additional requests needed to achieve or maintain proper rankings and quality traffic
• Ongoing:
  • Communicate across separate business units in Comcast Business and Xfinity to maintain a healthy organic search presence for similar products and services
  • Proactively provide insights and recommendations for product and service naming that may affect search results or how people search for the product or service.
  • Work closely alongside devs to stay abreast of what is in development across the site, and help out on the SEO front when needed.
  • Manage and report out on the Organic Search Visibility Score, to Comcast Business and Xfinity stakeholders
  • Continually keep an eye on rankings, competitive stance, and organic search conversions
  • Manage correction of Google console errors
  • Provide regular insights on standing in industry
  • Work closely with paid search on ongoing paid and organic search balance
  • Propose and conduct organic search tests

• Excellent written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work proactively in a fast paced, open, entrepreneurial environment
• Expert-level understanding of SEO auditing tools like Chrome web dev tools, and techniques like crawling via different user agents or from different geolocations.
• Strong technical SEO experience:
  • Technical background preferred with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and server side data
  • Hands on dev work won't be required, however you will be expected to work alongside devs to identify potential SEO issues and acceptable workarounds
  • Understanding of and experience with the complexities around SPAs and SEO.
  • Understanding of and experience with schema markup, reverse proxies, and technical SEO audits
• Content skills:
  • Experience with ideating on article content that targets audiences, not just keywords.
  • Ability to manage production, delivery and measurement of article content.
  • Experience working with CMS optimization and building/administering content in CMS environments
• Reporting & Analytics skills
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Console, and crawler and rank tracking tools.
  • Experience with using data to tell an objective story and/or to get buy-in.
  • Ability to utilize the data available to you, to build and automate SEO reporting.
• Project management skills:
  • Excellent project management skills, with a record of successful project delivery on time, following through to completion, and in line with budget expectations
  • Ability to independently communicate projects and results to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to use proper judgment for when to weigh SEO recommendations against business priorities to make compromises when necessary.
  • Experience with competitive research, assessing the SERP landscape to hone in on the strategies that can give Comcast Business an upper hand or a differentiating approach to meeting consumers' search needs.
  • Ability to juggle several projects, manage them effectively, and communicate them regularly.
