We are looking for a Senior Manager, International Tax to join the Tax Organization at headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.-This position will report into the Director, International Tax and work with team members within the department, along with other colleagues from various finance functions at the company to prepare and review the international components of the US federal income tax return and support the ASC 740 tax provision process for the company's international operations.

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: CPA:: MBA or MST:: Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft products and experience with tax provision software and SmartView

Duties and Responsibilities== Manage the completion of international tax compliance that is part of the US consolidated tax return, including forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118== Assist local non-US accounting personnel with ASC 740-related income tax issues and training== Assist non-US locations with monthly/quarterly calculations and tax accounting process using tax provision software== Work on quarterly review and analysis of the effective tax rate, footnote, and other SEC disclosures== Review, and at times assist in the preparation of, international tax calculations, such as E&P, Subpart F, FDII, GILTI, and the foreign tax credit== Assist in the design and execution of planning projects by providing quantitative analysis, modeling the impact from anticipated projects, transactions, and proposed US and international tax legislation== Oversee the preparation and review of tax statements and elections related to international restructurings, tax planning, divestitures, and acquisitions== Conduct research on tax issues and prepare written documentation of conclusions== Review tax packages and coordinate data flows into the tax returns== Assist with managing the company's global transfer pricing operation, including understanding and monitoring entity functions, implementing and monitoring appropriate arm's length pricing, and coordinating needed documentation== Work with outside service providers as needed to complete tax planning and/or compliance engagements
