Title: Site Reliability Engineer III Compensation: Based on Experience Level Type: Direct hire Industry: Healthcare Technology Responsibilities: • Serve as a key player within the organization that works on the scalability, manageability, and reliability of our SLO driven SaaS platform • Take ownership of all production escalated issues (SWARMs), alerting, visibility and transparency ensuring the platform is operating according to our predefined service level objectives • Notice problems before they occur and and remediate them, understand the indicators across the platform that dictate our service levels in order to appropriately address them • Work alongside each of our engineering teams to ensure they have what they need to provide fast and efficient delivery of the organization's platform • Understand existing development and deployment pipelines to design and implement the next generation framework for software development, testing, documentation, and deployment • Maintain the internal infrastructure that supports the software development, test and documentation teams • Work with a broad range of technologies, including (but not limited to) Terraform, Ansible, AWS and Azure (and various service offerings within - CDNs, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)- too many to list, and it changes a lot!), spinnaker, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Python, .net, microservices, and SQL • Improve existing processes and creating new processes and tools supporting agile application development teams leading to continuous integration, test, and deploy methods • Assist with application integration and troubleshooting Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving coding (physics or mathematics) or equivalent practical experience. • 5+ years' experience in operation of production systems, including troubleshooting, testing, automation, and monitoring • Experience with Development Operations practices including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, pipelining, automated deployment and testing, and self-healing • Experience in C, Java, or Python • Experience consulting with customers or leading projects to achieve defined outcomes is a plus • Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, etc) in order to SLI is a plus • Experience with network and application protocols (e.g., TCP, HTTP) and databases (RDS, SQL, Mongo) is a plus • Experience designing, building and/or running production systems in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus • Experience with analysis and software design a plus • Experience leading design or modernization efforts for applications (e.,g., using APIS, micro-services, etc) Job demands: • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person #Dice-SPGYoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
