Description: The SharePoint and Power Platform Technical Lead will serve dual roles, as a SharePoint Architect and SharePoint development - participating in the evaluation, development/procurement, implementation, and/or support of technologies and development tools and standards in this area lead the team that will provide the solutions that meet the needs of the customer and add value to the company.

Responsibilities:

This role will have responsibility in identifying opportunism for continued technology modernization and implementation of modern SharePoint solutions and applicationsWork with other team members to provide SharePoint architecture and infrastructure services.Serve as a senior developer on the SharePoint team - guiding others in the implementation of SharePoint solutionsSupport the migration of existing team sites and portals to SharePoint online and maintain knowledge of existing and new capabilities and features in SharePoint, both online and on premiseUnderstand the back-end configurations of SharePoint and participation and decisions that drive how SharePoint is configured and usedServe as a senior developer on the Power Platform team - guiding others in the implementation of Power Platform solutionsEnsures process, procedures, support and operational documentation is current and completeWork with application leads and internal customers to ensure that functionality is properly activated and custom code is developed in accordance with requirementsFollow vendor policies and utilize proven project and development methodologies and standardized practices to ensure continued support and viability of the application platforms and environmentsProvides advice and counsel to customers and all levels of the organization with respect to the applications, systems, or technologies in assigned area of responsibilityLeads small to large-scale projects following the Project Management Methodology or the Applications Development Framework, which includes project schedule planning and tracking, budgeting, resource management, communications, and customer relations.Work with team to solve problems and implement solutions without direct supervisionWork with operations to ensure that environments are kept up to date with required patch levelsMaintain current knowledge of application functionality and identifies opportunities and evaluate and implement new functionalities where appropriate to increase business valueLead the discovery, planning and implementation of process improvements in individual and cross-functional areas of responsibilityPossess a thorough understanding of the business purpose and processes in area of responsibility and participates in the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvementEstablish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and suppliersEnsure compliance for areas of responsibility - all existing change control and compliance processes and procedures are followed and implementing new governance processes where requiredEstablish and maintain an effective working relationship across the organization, with leadership, customers, and suppliersPursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organizationPartner with application, architecture, and client teams to define and develop strategy and deliver results in line with the IT strategy

Essential Knowledge & Skills:Understanding vendor vision and direction and staying current on trends and industry best practicesIdentifying opportunities and evaluate functionality to increase business valueExpert knowledge of the functionality of SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016 as well as SharePoint OnlineExpert knowledge of the creation and customization of web parts using out-of-the-box standard functionalityExpert knowledge of the functionality of Microsoft Power Platform.Knowledge of customizing sites and building workflows with SharePoint DesignerKnowledge of supporting InfoPath formsExperience in installation of current versions of On-Prem SharePoint 2010, 2013 and 2016 as well as troubleshooting issues with those environmentWorking knowledge of IIS and SSL certificatesA solid understanding of systems analysis, design, and programming techniquesStrong customer relationship / skillsStrong human relation skills, and able to interact with internal and external customers, other analysts, and managementEffective verbal and written communication skills - consistent being able to communicate horizontally and vertically within the companyThe incumbent must be able to provide work direction to teams and manage several large projects

Minimum of 6 years' experience in information technologyMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a SharePoint Administrator or DeveloperMinimum of 3 years' experience with Office 365 and Power PlatformEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or MathStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong project management skills
