Description A Senior Financial Analyst is sought by an energetic company for a long-term contract / temporary project opportunity. A primary point of contact for all financial issues, the Senior Financial Analyst consultant will handle project spending, planning, forecasting, and annual budgeting. In order to provide decision-making support for future company investments, you will also perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments in accordance with public reporting requirements. This Senior Financial Analyst will be located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.What you get to do every dayDevelop business, operational, and financial processes to be repeatable and understandable for all necessary teams
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating critical updates to senior leadership
Provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives by working closely with the Functional leads
Cultivate business performance through the use and execution of financial analysis
Coordinate with Operations and Accounting to discreetly and accurately track financial results in order to drive improved management reporting
Evaluate financial results, summarize key issues, and articulate integral messages to senior management in order to drive existing management reporting
Cultivate dynamic relationships with Finance/Accounting leadership of key business partners
Offer assistance for ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests as necessary Requirements - Microsoft Excel experience
Proven knowledge of Ad Hoc Reporting
General familiarity with External Reporting Requirements
Foundational knowledge in Analysis Techniques
Analysis experience highly desired
Well-founded grasp of Monthly Reporting
Deep understanding of HealthCare Industry
SaaS experience desired
Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
Ability to think critically and interact with management
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint
Prior experience with process reengineering and optimization
Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally, think practically and be solution-oriented
CPA or MBA preferred
Acquirement in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Applicants are required to hold a Finance, Business, or related field BA/BS degree
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
