POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Specialist of store and community events will support the development, and implementation of field event programs, classes, and processes. She/he will also collaborate and work cross-functionally across most departments including marketing, merchandising, operations, training, science, field, and e-commerce teams, while also developing and managing relationships with vendors and organizations to drive results and engagement.   The ideal candidate has a passion for helping others, engaging with the community, and has a creative personality reinforced with exceptional business acumen and tech-savviness. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Help with the planning and manage execution of events and classesAssist in the research and identifying national and local partnership opportunities to drive traffic and build brand loyaltyEngage with marketing, field operations, merchandising, brand, and e-commerce to ensure all stakeholders are represented in the execution event strategiesSupport identifying and problem solving new technical, and marketing needs as they arise to ensure as frictionless an execution process as possibleEnsuring all customer engagement opportunities in-field are aligned to overall company strategy and prioritiesSupport contract negotiations with external partners ensuring return on investment and that SLAs are metDevelop a deep understanding of the GNC customer behaviors, products, and health and wellness industry to drive sales growth and brand loyaltyAssist in the development of reporting and provide status updates to Director of Store and Community EventsSupport other consumer experience initiatives as neededAdditional duties as assigned
