DescriptionTax & Bookkeeping Firm located in the Shady Side area of Pittsburgh is looking for a candidate to assist with Tax Preparation for the 2020 tax season!The Tax Preparer will be responsible for individuals, corporations and partnerships using Drake Software. The Tax Preparer will also assist with general bookkeeping duties utilizing QuickBooks. You may be asked to pull financial data from QuickBooks. The Tax & Bookkeeping firm is a small organization and this role will also involve administrative support duties.The Tax Preparer will report directly to the owner and partner of the firm. Free parking will be provided! The hours are normal business hours, Monday-Friday. Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Drake Software experience preferred (although other tax software experience is acceptable)
Experience preparing the following taxes is required: Individual tax, Partnership tax and Corporate tax
Experience with QuickBooks is very beneficial
Excellent data entry skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred
