The job consists of taking care of both high and low functioning adults at a care home facility (Gracious Living). The facility consists of 25 residents. Some of the job responsibilities consist of feeding disabled residents, watching after the residents’ well-being, cooking, and cleaning the residential home (i.e., dusting, sweeping, doing residents' laundry, etc.). Employees also serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack- depending on shift time. Job duties are divided among shifts.
There are 3 shifts and two staff members per shift. The shifts consist of the following times:
· 7am – 3pm
· 3pm – 11pm
· 11pm – 7am
At Gracious Living we try our best to be flexible and give each employee their desired shift, however, depending on various factors you may be asked to work all available shifts.
A high school degree or GED is required. A background check will be conducted, but the results do not disqualify anyone from the position.
