Client is 6ft tall and about 230lbs. Client had a stroke in June 2023. Affected speech & right side - cannot use right hand/arm, right leg is affected. Is ambulatory but drags right leg, it is weight bearing. Can sit to stand independently but needs some assistance getting into the shower. Needs help with washing back and armpits. Can dress himself but may need light assistance/monitor assistance. Can toilet independently, can do mouth care independently. Needs help with shaving. Stroke affects his ability to connect some words and actions. Go thru range of motion exercises. Assist with meal prep, clean bathroom and make bed. Puts on CPAP at night. Cognition is good. Some memory loss related to stroke. Fully continent. No driving authorized or required. No pets.
Shifts can be 8am to 4pm OR 9am to 5pm OR 10am to 6pm. 4x/week Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat.
