Building & Embracing Sobriety Together Inc. is an Outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center looking for a therapist with experience treating addiction issues and family systems or students with degree. This is an Intensive Outpatient Treatment Facility licensed through the Pennsylvania Department of Drug & Alcohol for men, women and teens. We focus on treating the root

causes of addiction and address the underlying mental and emotional issues. We treat the whole person and focus on resolving traumatic issues and other emotional issues.

This is a full-time position in which the candidate will be responsible for providing individual, group and family

counseling to our clients and their families. Our model is CBT, so if the candidate has specific training in addition to addictions, including trauma, experiential, psychodrama, art therapy, etc., that would be preferred.

Licensure in Pennsylvania is preferred although not required. Certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (CADC) or college degree in sociology, psychology, social work or counseling would be beneficial. If in recovery, a minimum of 5 years continuous recovery required. We work as a team, so weekend and evening hours will be required.

The qualities the successful candidate will possess are:

- Confidence in working with addictions and family system dynamics

- Working knowledge of the 12-step program of recovery

- Soulful, compassionate, mature and creative

- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, etc.)

- Familiarity with alternative medicine practices including the benefits of yoga, acupuncture, MAT, etc.

Strong communication and therapy skills are essential. Equally strong desire to participate in the team approach we take to addressing all the needs of our clients in a sacred place.
