Apex Systems has partnered with a Mortgage Insurance Provider headquartered in Radnor, PA to fill a Business Analyst role. Location: Radnor, PA - remote currently Reason Open: Has BA leaving who they are seeking to replace Duration: LTC BA Responsibilities: - Involved in writing requirements, sit in on meetings, gather and document requirements, send out doc for approval
- Sometimes some PM - managing inquiries either business or IT, helping to bridge gap in communication
- UAT/QA knowledge is huge plus
- As they move into Agile world they move towards user stories with requirements
- Writing BRDs, User story experience who understands that process and how it works
- They don't have all the ceremonies
Education/Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2-3 years of business system analysis experience, required
- System design knowledge preferred
- Financial, insurance and/or mortgage related business knowledge a plus
Knowledge and Skills: - Ability to use Visio or equivalent software
- Ability to use prototyping tools
- Ability to write User Stories and requirements
- Training in business requirements methodologies and best practices; preferably Agile
- Basic knowledge of SQL is desirable
- Ability to work productively as part of a team and as an individual contributor
- Prior experience working with decision makers/SMEs across all areas
