Atrilogy client is looking for Sr Associate QA Analyst for remote work More Automation VS Manual Duration: 3-month, potential to convert to FT Job Description This role is aligned to the automotive industry and one of the Groupe's largest strategic accounts. Job Summary: The Associate Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) is responsible for the evaluation and testing of all campaign, e-mail and web site products. Also accountable for reviewing and testing product functionality against the standards and requirements determined at the start of the project as well as well accepted industry standards. Responsibilities:
- The Associate QAA helps develop test plans, create test case scenarios, execute test programs, and works with development team members in implementing and improving quality standards and processes.
- Reviewing functional and technical specifications to develop test plans
- Development of test scripts to do functional testing, regression testing, and load testing
- Performing manual testing of interactive products including banner ads, e-mails and web sites focusing on functional and end-to-end testing, validating that system response and output accurately reflect business requirements as outlined in requirements document
- Validating that data loading and storage structures operate according to technical specifications and well accepted standards
- Utilize automated testing tool(s) when appropriate
- Execution of testing plans and the creation/management of bug lists
- Participating in reviews at all phases of the software development cycle
- Contributing to overall Quality Assurance best practices, strategy and methodology
- Facilitating code walkthroughs and reviews, and ensuring that the code conforms to well accepted development and quality standards
- Ensure that software conforms to client style guides and standards (directory structures, file naming conventions, etc.)
- 1-2 years' experience in QA and testing within a software development environment, preferably with Internet technologies
- Experience working with relational databases
- Hands-on experience in testing complex business applications and understanding large complex environments, and knowledge of requirements-based testing
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required
- The strong candidate will have a keen attention to detail, be well organized, possesses good decision-making skill, and have self-administrative skills
- Experience with automated testing tools is a big plus
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or a related field) or 4 or more years of directly related experience
- An understanding of the fundamental software engineering principles and methodologies of testing software
- IT staffing and placement such as Project Managers, Agile/Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, DBAs, Software Engineers, Mobile Developers (iOS, Android), DevOps, Automation, QA, Systems & Network Engineers, Cyber Security / Information Security Specialists, ERP, CRM, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data and Creative (UI/UX, Web Design)
- Operational staffing and placement of Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and Marketing professionals, as well as Information Technology resources.
