We have developed significant unique capabilities and are constantly working to exceed our Customer expectations by offering them unparalleled R&M value and solutions. This position is located in Ridley Park, PA.Position Responsibilities:Perform core R&M activities including: reliability and maintainability predictions, failure modes and effects analysis (FMECA); fault tree analysis; maintainability analyses; failure analysis and corrective action activities; level of repair analysis (LORA); reliability centered maintenance analysis (RCMA); fault prediction/detection/isolation analysis; root cause and corrective action; cost analysis; trade studies; system architecture studies; probabilistic risk assessment and baseline comparative analysis to assess design characteristics and supportability issues/concerns.

Apply specialty engineering R&M tools and processes across a wide spectrum of the value stream to include developmental programs, production and sustainment engineering support to in-service aircraft.

Influence new and revised platform system designs to meet supportability and readiness requirements.

Interface with design and support capability teams and apply model based systems engineering processes to allocate and assess aircraft, system and equipment specification and derived requirements.

Support: detailed reviews of aircraft system field maintenance, factory data, and aircraft sensor data; trend and statistical analysis on the data to assess compliance to reliability and maintainability requirements, and aircraft readiness.

Assess and propose improvements to the platform failure management strategy through application of condition based maintenance applications leveraging onboard and off-board health usage monitoring systems.

Leverage advanced data analytics mining and analysis techniques and tools to assess quantitative reliability and maintainability performance characteristics of aircraft equipment.

Make innovative contributions that will help grow the application and advancement of onboard weapon system integration with OEM and operator data analytics tools, processes and computing infrastructure.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start may be required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Experience performing reliability and/or maintainability analysis.

Demonstrated strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude combined with core engineering skills – necessary to quickly attain master knowledge of aircraft systems workings, functionality, and failure effects along with strong organizational and complex problem solving skills.

Experience with data science techniques and methodologies.

Experience with applied mathematics (statistics, etc.)

Ability to engage in frequent interaction and effective communication, both verbally and in writing with internal Team members and external Teams and Customers.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience)Experience in military aviation environment.

Experience with rotorcraft.

Possess an Airframe license and Power-Plant license (or equivalent training).

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
