Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), H-47 Vertical Lift, has an immediate need for an Experienced Electrical Systems Design Engineer (Level 2), in Ridley Park, PA . The Vertical Lift organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will work on a diverse team of engineers responsible for full life-cycle Electrical System Design. Primary aircraft supported is the H-47 Chinook, with additional projects spanning across the Boeing portfolio.This position is based in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania – approximately 10 miles outside of Philadelphia. We work in a casual but professional environment with multi-disciplined teams of engineers that take pride in developing, integrating, testing and delivering innovative solutions. There is long-term potential for career growth into technical leadership or management positions and we value the curiosity, tenacity and imagination our engineers bring to our teams each day.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at he listed location.Primary Responsibilities: Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware designs and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

2+ years of engineering experience.

Experienced with wiring, electrical design, or electrical engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):2+ years of electrical system design experience.

Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of the Mentor Graphics Capital tool.

Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
