We are currently seeking reliable individuals with strong work ethic to join our client's team as QA Lab Tech in Hazleton, PA!
IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A QA LAB TECH ON 3rd SHIFT
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation to Hazleton, PA
High School Diploma or GED
Prior experience in a lab environment preferred
An associates degree or two years formal education in applied science or science technology desired
Able to start immediately
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Responsibilities include:
Ensures products are produced to quality standards and customer specifications.br>
Inspects and monitors the production process to ensure make up, proof, bake and wrap is to established standards regarding time, temperature, speed and weights for finished products with acceptable size.
Monitors the accurate functioning of metal detectors, scales and thermometers throughout the process on an established frequency and reports problems and/or corrective action
Conducts sampling and inspection daily of pre-determined products and prepares follow-up reports for management review.
Ensures compliance with various government regulations regarding labeling and safety of products required of food manufactures
Prepares statistical reports and documentation to inform management of critical quality issues
