Our client, a leader in the building and architectural space, has an immediate need for a
Senior Project Architect to join their growing team. This individual will work directly with clients and lead the design discussion during presentations and project meetings.This is opportunity is a hybrid role with on-site work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Responsibilities- Actively pursue and identify new work in conjunction with firm leadership.
- Provide mentorship and training in respect to architectural design relevance within the firm.
- Travel for on-site collaboration, investigations, and project presentations
- Lead both clients and internal design teams of architects and engineers through planning, design, and construction administration for both renovation and new building projects
- Maintain a deep understanding of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Graduation from a NAAB accredited university preferred
- RA registration in VA, MD, or DC, (or a reciprocal state)
- 10+ years of related industry experience
- Design experience in federal, healthcare, senior care, higher education, public safety, local governmental, or commercial projects
