CNC Lead MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Lead to oversee a team of 4 operators in a dynamic shop environment. Pay is starting at $52,000 - $64,480 with room to grow, overtime available, and nice benefits. This working lead role involves operating, setting up, and editing CNC equipment, primarily lathes, and occasionally mills. The successful candidate will read and interpret blueprints, operate machines productively, perform basic tool changes, manual de-burring, and in-process inspections. You will also verify parts for conformance to specifications using various measuring devices and will be responsible for process improvement initiatives.Skills
3 years of CNC Lead experience
5 years of experience in running and setting up CNC Lathe machines
G-Code program editing
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gages
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Experience in CNC lathe and mill operation
ShiftThe working hours for this position are 2nd shift with training on the 1st shift.
