POSITION SUMMARY:First shift: 7:00am-3:30pmTo maintain plant equipment and facilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains and repairs plant facilities and utilities, including electrical distribution, compressed air systems, cooling water, etc.

Repairs and maintains plant equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Performs regularly scheduled maintenance.

Assists operators with machine troubleshooting and set up as necessary.

Rearranges and installs equipment within the plant.

Loads and unloads equipment from trucks.

Assists engineering department with equipment or process modifications.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with OHSA, EPA, NEC and city and local codes

Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, machine and motor control systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and machine rigging.

Experience troubleshooting PLCs and servos.

Ability to communicate in English.

Ability to run maintenance and machine shop equipment such as a lathe, saw, mill, drill press, etc.

Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features of the equipment.

Knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at the plant.

Ability to obtain a forklift license, as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPEREINCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Formal training in hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, robotics, PLC programming and modifications. Training certificates for electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics is preferred.Must have a minimum of 5 years experience working with industrial machinery.Desired skills in mechanical, welding, metal fabrication and vibratory bowls.CMRT certification preferredCertified maintenance & reliability technician or certified electricianOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb ladders or equipment.Maximum unassisted lift - 75 lbs. Average lift less than 25 lbs.WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud and may require hearing protection.

Safety shoes and eye protection are also required.

Temperature environment 0 degrees to 110 degrees.
