Sr. Instrumentation EngineerDirect HireThe candidate should be self-motivated, innovative, system focused and a team player. In this role, you must be highly capable at electronic design development, analysis, troubleshooting and establish appropriate protocols.The Sr. Instrumentation Engineer should fully understand scientific instrumentation, design, layout, and maintenance. You must have a thorough knowledge of AC DC analog design principles for creating high accuracy and high-speed measurement circuits. Knowledge of data translators, SOC design, and power converters is also useful.The Sr. Instrumentation Engineer performs engineering assignments involving the application of established electrical instrumentation technology and principles. Job Description We are looking for a senior engineer able to work on all aspects of analytical instrument design.Our projects require innovative engineers able to work on all aspects of a development process from a marketing spec through conceptual design and simulation, circuit design and layout, to manufacturing.The work will require significant circuit analysis, evaluation, and refinement. You will also document, and report on progress. The Sr. Instrumentation Engineer will work closely with the engineering team in developing and defining specification for future designs as well as supporting continuing engineering of our existing product line. You must communicate well with engineering, manufacturing management, and the rest of the manufacturing test staff.You will work in a small team reporting to the R D Manager. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office and testing environment. This position requires good technical English, and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing., given the focus on developmental hardware.Required Education and Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience.Bachelor s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific principle required. Hands on experience in electronics/electrical design and power electronics Electrical schematics and PCB layout experience Soldering/desoldering experience preferred Experience with firmware design in C or similar embedded language Experience with lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc. Circuit board experience Scientific instrumentation experience required Rewards Salary will be commensurate with experienceWhy Kelly ® ?Your engineering skills are in demand, but how do you find the right fit?
