What we're looking for

Basic Qualifications:- Server administration experience in a Linux environment.- 2+ years maintaining & building AWS accounts / infrastructures, including EC2, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, AWS Backups, S3, RDS, VPC maintenance, and networking.- Manage server provisioning and basic application infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).- Configuration of web servers including Nginx (primary) and Apache, as both reverse proxies (some with load balancing) and application proxy servers.- Strong familiarity with AWS security best practices.- Knowledge of Git version control, test driven development and code reviews.- Demonstrated technical and analytical skills, including the ability to understand and convey complex technical information in simple terms.- Experience with agile development workflows.- Bachelor's degree or related work experience.- Excellent troubleshooting skills.- Strong interpersonal skills.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:- Experiencing creating AWS Lambda serverless functions.- Experience managing Linux servers with Ansible.Experience writing basic technical documentation.- Knowledge of CPI-810, and experience with general enterprise-scale security practices.- Experience with container-based application infrastructure.- Familiar with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.- Ability to recognize trends and provide relevant solutions.- Proven Project Management and decision making skills.- Ability to work effectively in a virtual work environment within a geographically diverse team.- Innovative, risk-taking, creative problem solver. - Experience working in a collaborative problem-solving environment.
