Job Description
The Store Construction Coordinator will develop concept store plans and drawings along with architectural details and specifications. This is a position that requires great organizational skills and Project Management abilities.
o Drives the coordination of the design process with relevant disciplines, to include: visual, marketing, operations, purchasing, real estate and construction.
o Daily coordination of store architecture design timelines from project inception to store opening. The store architecture design process includes:
o Maintaining constant communication with construction, real estate and store operation teams throughout the design process to meet deadlines.
o Resolving field design issues with General Contractors.
oDetermining existing space conditions.
oProducing schematic designs from floor plans to storefront elevations to rendered concepts.
oReviewing store design construction drawings for design intent and accuracy.
o Reviewing preliminary drawings with landlords and providing consistent coordination of design process throughout construction.
oFollowing up on building permits and review process with outside architecture firm.
oCommunicating red lines (revisions and corrections) with outside architectural firm.
oAssisting with generating new ideas for store design, which may include new storefronts/windows/fixtures/finish selection/store architecture, layout/design and signage.
oReviewing final construction drawings with landlords for Design Criteria requirements.
oPartnering with internal/external resources throughout the store architecture design process to meet deadlines.
oMaintain Accruent and software design databases with up-to-date information that changes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
oCoordinate with signage vendors on all facets of storefront signage designs including review and approval of signage drawings, obtaining landlord approval, and managing the permit process and signage installation dates.

Qualifications
oBachelor’s Degree in Architectural Drafting/Design or related field
oThree+ years' design experience, preferably in a retail environment
oAutoCAD experience is preferred.
o Accruent system experience preferred.
oGeneral understanding of the construction process.
oStrong design skills, to included generating and developing design concepts.
oMicrosoft applications, strong excel and word capabilities
oArchitectural drafting skills and demonstrated space planning skills.
oAbility to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
oGeneral understanding of visual merchandising requirements and expectations
oSelf-starter capable of managing multiple projects and working under tight timeline constraints through completion.
oTravels as necessary to help manage special projects.
