IT Project Manager - ITIL Certified

We are seeking a PM who is ITIL Certified to manage technology projects . The ideal candidate will develop, implements and monitors project plans, contribute expertise and remove impediments to major project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.

In this role you will:
  • Lead data collection to support assessment of IT service performance and ROI (Return On Investment). Lead collaboration with operations and other business functions to ensure successful and ITIL-compliant practices and processes.
  • Provide insight on best practices, including Agile and Lean, and common obstacles based on prior experiences. Coach the team towards high performance and utilizes data to drive continuous improvement. Serve as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company and organizational strategy.
  • Enable regular communication, visibility and clarity on project status and issues to all stakeholders, including leadership and team members.
  • Build effective working relationships with all areas of GTO and external stakeholders. Proactively foster communication between internal and external project stakeholders. Promote collaboration and resolving conflicts. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.
  • Identifies, manages and mitigates risks and any related issues on technology projects proactively. Communicates solutions on key issues or projects to management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy in, as appropriate.
  • Evaluate, define, develop, and deploy new departmental processes. Identifies and implements potential enhancements to existing processes.
  • Communicate with all service providers and stakeholders.
  • Review documentation, technical processes and specifications to determine the intended functionality of ITIL initiatives.
  • Utilize available service platforms to support all process management, reporting and governance activities. Prepares for and participates in control reviews and internal/external audit engagements.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years related work experience, with three years experience in threat analysis. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years industry experience. 2+ years of managing a project preferred. Technical experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to understand strategic objectives and vision and work towards those goals. Proven thought leadership, strategic thinking and decision making.
  • Holds related industry certifications, such as PMP or Certified Scrum Master or has the ability to attain within 12 months of hire.
