FUN Academy is seeking experienced and motivated Young Toddler Teacher with a love for nurturing and educating young children. Job Responsibilities:

Build strong relationships and help all those you teach.

Work collaboratively with the assistant teacher in the room to develop and create a fun, loving, childcare environment.

Create a nurturing and positive learning environment encouraging children and staff to grow and develop.

Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.

Create a “learning is fun’ environment by developing and implementing lesson plans following our curriculum.

Maintain a well-kept classroom that helps ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children.

Observe all of the FUN Academy's policies and procedures and state licensing regulations.

Attend required staff meetings and training.

Complete a minimum of 20 hours of ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

Minimum of an Associate's Degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, or human services from an accredited college or CDA

OR High school diploma or GED certificate, with two (2) years’ experience in an early learning childcare setting and 24 credit/non-credit hours of training in early development.

One year childcare experience

Strong time management, leadership, and organizational skills

Flexible and able to multi-task

Prior management experience (a plus)
