Length of assignment: Evaluation Hire, Temp to Hire, depending on job performance, attitude, and attendance
Job description:
Residential window glazing
Working with windows and doors
Installing mirrors
Delivering tabletops and other items
Cutting glass on customer site, as needed.
Requirements:
This position works with residential customers at their homes, daily. So MUST be personable with the general public.
This person is on the road daily driving from place to place. Nothing overnight or outside of regular working hours (unless emergency arises).
Working hours are 7:00 – 3:30. Overtime for this position is not common.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical and get a DOT Medical Certificate. We can send to Concentra for it and pay for it, since it is not a normal requirement for our positions. Just to clarify - they do NOT need a CDL.
Works alone, so must be a leader type and not a follower, while still being able/willing to take direction from Supervisor/Manager.
Must be proficient with measuring.
Must be fine with heights as using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts will be needed at times.
Experience installing windows and/or cutting glass would be a plus!
