Olsson’s construction services include project administration and observation, project documentation, and materials testing. As a Construction Technician, you will perform various types of construction observation and staking. You will assist with geotechnical and construction materials testing, inspections, and field or laboratory testing for various projects. As an integral team member, you'll gather project information, review work progress, and prepare  construction progress reports. You will document your findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making and maintaining the structural integrity and safety of construction projects. You will travel to various job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
