NTT DATA, Inc., a top 10 global IT services company, has an immediate need for an SALESFORCE ARCHITECT to support our banking client in REMOTE and reports to Johnston, RI 02919ROLE SALESFORCE ARCHITECT - Financial Services Cloud Required (FSC)INDUSTRY Banking DURATION 6+ month Contract, probable extension LOCATION 100% REMOTE reporting to Johnston, RI 02919 100% REMOTE Summary: Provides deep technical knowledge and architectural design mentorship at a platform and portfolio level and will be a key contributing architect on large/complex projects with a variety of components. Responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing, documentation and analysis of applications and operational processes.Top Candidates will have the following:Financial Services Cloud (FSC) ExperienceScheduling experience (integrating scheduler with outlook)Salesforce LightningPreferred - Wealth Management ExperienceEducation/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
  • 8+ years' experience in web-development and/or Salesforce solutions architecture.
  • Experience with cloud computing (preferably AWS) including certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect).
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, C. UI/UX experience, including relevant web/application branding techniques.
Preferred:
  • 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry - understanding of banking systems and operations; a background in wealth management will be helpful.
  • Experience in service technologies (microservices, domain driven design, Spring Boot, REST, GraphQL), with Single Page Applications (e.g. Angular, React, Vue) and working with highly automated CI/CD pipelines.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Architecture design and modeling capabilities with solid experience in a variety of Salesforce technologies/approaches including extensive experience with Sales and Service Cloud (preferably FSC), Communities, Force.com, and Lightning.
  • Ability to apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions for optimal business results and minimize risk regarding the integration of applications across multiple product systems and delivery channels.
  • Ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions, and execute within an intense high-tech environment.
  • Should possess strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a strong command of the English language; written and oral with interpersonal skills to be able to facilitate technical conversations with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with senior level engineers, architects and platform owner to set the platform s technical direction and strategic objectives.
  • Align efforts with central architecture function to influence technical standards and progress enterprise objectives.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure both deliveries of desired business outcomes and alignment to enterprise standards.
  • Drive key architecture decisions to solve critical complex problems for assigned and adjacent platforms.
  • Focus on driving architecture towards long-term
Business Unit/Enterprise goals and objectives.
  • Capture best-practice knowledge from engineering and field teams and share reference architectures and patterns with technical teams.
  • Network with peers on technical matters, design prototypes, system designs and enterprise-wide research projects.
  • Oversee projects / products from inception to successful delivery.
  • Communicate concepts, costs/benefit, risks/management and options that the audience will understand and endorse.
