Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for flowers, a keen eye for detail, and a talent for creating beautiful arrangements. As a Floral Designer, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and use your expertise to create stunning floral designs that exceed their expectations.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday arrangements
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and use this information to create custom designs
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety and health regulations
- Manage inventory and ensure that all materials and supplies are stocked and available for use
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain a high level of customer service and provide excellent communication skills
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and supportive work environment
- Keep up to date with current trends and styles in floral design and continue to develop your skills and knowledge
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Strong background in floral design and arrangement
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in English or ability to speak multiple languages
- Experience in retail sales and customer service
- Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
- The ability to sell and promote products and services
- A passion for flowers and a keen eye for detail
- Must have experience
