Operations Manager Opportunity: The Children's Workshop values creativity, a positive attitude, and a strong motivation to create safe, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for children. We're seeking an experienced, community-oriented Operation Manager with a passion for customer service and team leadership to oversee all day-to-day operations of an assigned early childhood education center. Previous experience in the daycare field is NOT required. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager interested in applying their skills and experience in a new field to make a meaningful and impactful contribution to their community.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Education personnel to coordinate education programming that complies with local and federal regulations and delivered in engaged, meaningful ways.

Take ownership of business development and profitability of assigned school location. Engage with prospective and enrolled families to provide exceptional customer service and build a positive school community. Communicate and meet with parents/guardians regarding their children and the school's policies.

Develop and manage to school operating budget to attain short and long term profitability goals.

Ensure school facility and property are maintained, manage and support the school's educators.

Interview, hire and train new team members, ensuring job performance meets all policies and legal requirements. Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage for hours of operations, student attendance levels, and payroll efficiencies.

Education, Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree required; does not have to be related to early childhood education. Willingness to participate in continuing education in the field of early childhood education.

Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience planning and organizing a business operation and managing staff.
