Our client in Providence, RI is seeking a full time Bioprocess Director / Sr Bioprocess Engineer to head up their Biopharmaceutical Operations. The Bioprocess expert will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: leading and growing our client’s Bioprocess Engineering team and project teams; being the main point of contact for customer projects; and managing and delivering on multiple simultaneous projects from inception to completion including sales engineering, requirements gathering, estimations, workflows, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and all related documentation. To be considered, you must have:
- At least 5+ years of proven cradle to grave leadership and delivery on Bioprocess Engineering projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bioprocess Engineering industry trends, technologies, processes, and standards
- Current experience and understanding of the following: Single Use Systems (SUS), upstream / downstream processes, continuous processing, engineering / design of systems (vessels, equipment, instrumentation and controls)
- A focus on solving customer problems related to Bioprocess Engineering and Manufacturing
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate across all levels of customer organizations
- Willingness and ability to engage customers as the lead sales engineer
