Location: Providence, RI Salary: Negotiable Description: Our client is currently seeking a HYBRID/Solutions ArchitectMUST BE LOCAL TO THE METRO-PROVIDENCE RI AREA The Solutions Architect is a key member of the organization responsible for strategic alignment of technologies with business vision to enable desired outcomes. Identifies and assesses the current state of the technology, products, solutions, and processes and provides recommendations, strategies, and roadmaps to move the company toward an optimized target state that improves business capabilities and drives innovation. Engage with internal/external partners to understand requirements and collaborate with the teams to help the organization designing a robust architecture and platform. The role will play a critical role as a member of the project team responsible for the successful onboarding of our largest and most complex enterprise engagement. The candidate will work with various IT teams and business stakeholders in understanding business requirements, evaluating options, recommending solutions and drive delivery of the envisioned solution. The candidate will also review existing processes and recommend or suggest modernization and automation opportunities that can be implemented to provide business value. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating technologies, building frameworks, and helping define technology strategy. This collaborative individual will work with Product and Technology teams to look at business goals, be responsible for leading-edge architecture and advise on the implementation of the technology solution. The right candidate will be able to weigh business decisions against technical ones and will determine product-definitions and feature sets in conjunction with the rest of the team. •Translate business strategy into technical architecture to ensure all areas of the system have been identified and mapped out
•Lead effort to scope and architect a major change program, leading strategic options analysis & proposing end-to-end solutions & highlighting trade-offs •Collaborate with other team members on agile development teams •Ensure project aligns with strategic capabilities, target architectures & technology standards. Identify key technology enablers to optimize IT investment •Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives •Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions •Conduct complex technology and system assessments for architecture solutions •Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas •Ensure applications adhere to established standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices •Responsible for developing estimates on related project work •Present to executive leadership on business value of recommendations •Develop technical documentation to define the system components, development environment and implementation planning/strategies •Understanding of engineering processes (including Agile methodologies) •Good problem-solving skills •5+ years relevant technology architecture experience •Tech savvy, detail oriented, and highly driven •Expert in work breakdown and work sequencing, with the ability to lead teams through the process of breaking large business problems into logical smaller incrementally deliverable pieces •Able to present and communicate complex technology concepts and issues to non- technological stakeholders •Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills •Demonstrated experience of leading virtual teams made up of business and technology resources •Relevant formal education, including BSCS or MSCS •Cross- functional collaboratorContact: This job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
