SJ Services has just obtained a new cleaning contract in Cranston RI and is looking to fill janitor and day porter positions immediately. these are union positions so benefits do come with these jobs.
Janitor positions are Monday-Friday from 5 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and Day Porter hours may vary.
As a janitor you will be cleaning floors, restrooms and removing trash daily. As a day porter you will have a set of responsibilities each day and also respond to emergency requests.
Experience and knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is helpful but if you willing to learn, we are willing to teach you to make your employment the best for both of us!
You will also need to have valid U.S. employment documents.
Be able to pass a National Background Check (CORI/SORI)
Take ownership of your job responsibilities
Have reliable transportation to/from worksite(s)
Be able to follow orders, work independently or with others
Bring a positive attitude to work each and every day.
