Maintenance person and/or gardener for Eastside houses off Benefit

Our excellent maintenance man had to go to Missouri to help with his grandmother who had a stroke. We have have two historic houses on S Court which need constant little repairs and attention. We seek someone fit with general skills to do small repairs, painting, garden maintenance, putting out and bringing in garbage cans. It could be someone just to do the gardening if they are knowledgeable about herbaceous perennials etc There is a relative of the trustees resident in one of the buildings who can assist you when needed. $25 an hour unless you are a really fine carpenter, amateur electrician and plumber - that would be great then more if we do not have to call them. Our last man often tried to fix things which normally required a plumber or electrician, and if he did, we gave him half of what the professional would have charged as a bonus. We want someone who can come daily or almost daily. You must have a cell phone and be able to prepare a bill online to be paid by check no more requently than bi-weekly owing to the bookkeeping required As fiduciaries of trusts who own the properties, we pay taxes and do everything above board so not suitable for persons wanting cash and no receipts. Our trust accountants will issue you a form at the end of the year.
