Our client in Providence, RI is seeking a Contract Business / Technical Analyst for a period of at least 6 months, with potential extension or right to hire. The Business / Technical Analyst will: work with the business to analyze and document process and functionalities; identify and remedy gaps and offer opportunities for improvement; and develop conceptual / logical data models; work with application architects to translate conceptual / logical data models to physical data models; possibly act as the Product Owner for a master data domain. To be considered, you must have:
- At least 3 – 5+ years of experience in data management, master data, data governance, data modeling, data architecture, metadata, and data quality
- Understanding of data management and business process design, processes, documentation, tools, and platforms
- SQL experience and ability to grab data from systems
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A location close to RI and a willingness / ability to be onsite regularly (not necessarily daily)
