Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery to fabricate, assemble, and press components with precision. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
Fabricate components according to specifications, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Assemble parts and products using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Safely operate forklifts for material handling as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
Proven experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred but willing to train the right person.
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations is essential.
Experience using calipers, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools is highly desirable.
Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures is an asset.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
