SUMMARY- Provide support to secondary operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Operating two drill presses to drill holes in signs, as well as install grommets, eyelets according to job specs.
Operating a round-cornering machine, brake press to bend PVC signs
Operate automatic grommet machine
Operate encased laminator.
Attach wires, strings to tags according to job specs
Package tags according to job specs.
Bring finished product to shelves.
Report machinery problems to supervisor.
Ensure work area is kept clean.
Remove waste, clean and maintain machinery.
Maintain record of work completed
Learn and apply lean tools and initiatives.
Use computer to read specifications and move jobs to next department
Other finishing tasks as assigned.
OCCASIONAL DUTIES
Assist with lamination of products.
Assist in pick and pack as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent and/or relevant experience preferred
Experience working in a secondary operations role
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write correspondence
Ability to understand and work with all units of measure.
