WORK Inc. is seeking a Career Navigator (CN) to work on a national project to promote customized employment of people with disabilities in a zero exclusion, Discovery-based, person centered model. As a critical team member of the Massachusetts Pathways to Careers at WORK IncĀ project, the CN will conduct Discovery on all program participants and develop individual profiles, visual resumes and an employment plan. The CN will work closely with the Employment Relations Specialist and the Employment Facilitator to ensure that individuals advance from Discovery into internships and/or jobs. The CN will work with individuals with a broad range of clinical diagnosis (primarily autism spectrum disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities) and their family, support teams and providers.

The CN will be required to travel to participate in additional training and to engage with other Pathways sites in the U.S.

Candidates must have:

1. Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation, Special Education, social work, business administration, human resources, or relevant field;

2. Two years full time experience working with people with significant disabilities;

3. Strong oral, written, analytical, research, interpersonal and organizational skills;

4. Competency in Microsoft Office, data management, and social media;

5. Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle;

6. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
