Modern, State-of -the-Art, fast paced Automotive Repair Facility in Cumberland, RI is currently seeking a Qualified Automotive Body Technician looking for an employment opportunity with growth potential.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years automotive repair experience
Candidate must have their own tools
Job Description:
Performs automotive body and related repairs
Removes, installs, adjusts, and aligns body components
Performs different types of minor sheet metal welding and metal finishing
Performs straightening of sheet metal and/or plastics and finishing with primer
Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical, trims and/or additional components to gain access for repair
Skills & Requirements:
2-3 years of auto body collision repair experience required
This position is for a 40 hour work week with overtime potential
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
Maintains a clean, organized work area
Skill set should include Service Oriented/ Critical Thinking/ Problem Solving/ Troubleshooting
Environmental & Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift or exert force
A current valid drivers license is required
