Job DescriptionThe Solution Architect – Site Reliability Engineering, Retail Technology, is accountable for developing and driving Site Reliability Engineering(SRE) implementation for Retail Technology systems. Work closely with Application, Incident management and Infrastructure teams to execute discovery and gap analysis effort. Provide SRE leadership and drive SRE implementation for one of the largest applications in CVS Health.This is a new position, reporting to the Sr. Director Retail IT Leader.Responsible to establish Site Reliability Engineering blueprint and roadmap. Ideal candidate will have engineering experience and drive to improve existing systems and processes, with creativity to develop novel solutions to evolving challenges. Goal to improve availability and reliability of critical platform services and applications, ensuring they meet the requirements of internal and external users. Understand production support & incident management processes. Need ability to provide guidance to improve MTTR and MTBF for critical platforms. Ability to multi-task and manage to aggressive deliverable dates is a must. 30% - Drive discovery and gap analysis effort for critical production systems towards Site Reliability engineering implementation30% - Create implementation roadmap and blueprint for Site Reliability Engineering implementation20% - Provide guidance to Production support, Incident management, Infrastructure and Application teams in adopting Site Reliability Engineering methodology20% - Provide leadership and support in creating sustainable systems and services through automation and upliftsRequired Qualifications8+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 3 years+ experience in leading implementation of Site Reliability Engineering for large and critical systems
