DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Supervise operations of field equipment within the bounds of the Technical Safety Requirements (TSRs)
Supervise operators using normal, abnormal and emergency operating procedures
Perform the duties of the Incident Scene Coordinator (ISC) during abnormal and emergency plant conditions
Performs facility monitoring and upkeep
Perform administrative functions, such as reviewing completed process procedures, procedure development, job hazard analysis, component walk-downs, component labeling, and safety walk-downs
Supervises process functions such as valve manipulations, chemical tank make-ups, obtaining samples, operating and monitoring process instrumentation, monitoring process piping and equipment, and decontaminating equipment and facilities
Supervises the operation of portable equipment such as forklifts, pumps, mixers, and agitators
Maintain an accurate and legible log book
Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years of Nuclear Experience
Demonstrated leadership potential among peers
Demonstrated expertise in application of DOE conduct of operations principle
Excellent verbal and written skills
Knowledge of DOE orders and OSHA Requirements
Ability to coordinate and manage field activities within a Nuclear Environment
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs
Ability to manage and mentor field operators
Ability to identify issues and effectively implement corrective actions
