Job ResponsibilitiesTri-County Technical College is seeking an innovative, passionate, and dedicated Instructor/Training Coordinator for our Corporate and Community Education Health Education Division. Under the general supervision of the Health Education Training and Development Director, the Training Coordinator will provide specific program coordination as well as coordinate training and development programs for local business and industry partners and the general public. The Training Coordinator will also serve as the office manager for the respective department. Problem-solving and effective teamwork are essential, and we seek a colleague who is enthusiastic, process-oriented and dedicated to helping shape the future of our students.This position will begin in January 2020.Job Duties Include:PROGRAM COORDINATION: Provides coordination of new and existing programs/courses by creating and maintaining course and student records, staying abreast of programmatic and certification requirements, monitoring budgets and funding, managing department procurement, administering billing information, generating reports, helping create proposals, and providing technical assistance to students, instructors, staff, and corporate customers.INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT: Provides logistical and systematic support in order for programs/courses to run efficiently by scheduling courses, developing/procuring materials, assisting with grading, proctoring assessments, creating and monitoring contracts, orienting new faculty, and preparing training sites and materials.INSTRUCTION & EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT: Provides employability support by teaching basic employability courses, developing or refining curricula, providing career guidance, serving as a liaison with potential employers, and tracking students' employment outcomes.MARKETING: Provides marketing support for the Department's programs by coordinating the development, production, and proofing/editing of marketing materials, publications, and communications, including web-based and social media outlets. Distributes materials as needed including open houses, career fairs, or other events.PLANNING, EVALUATION, and ASSESSMENT: Assists in the department's strategic planning by researching problems and needs and producing metrics and reports. Assists Department head in the full analysis of the courses and programs as related to costs, student success, satisfactions, market need, and job placement.OTHER DUTIES: Serves as backup to the CCE Customer Resource Center and performs other duties as assigned.Minimum and Additional RequirementsA bachelors degree.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience with instruction and or training in the area of health/health education is preferred. Preference will be given to individuals who possess a knowledge and skills in a medical background.
