Join us as we take flight!Shipping Clerk will prepare items for shipments per specifications. Duties may include assembling, addressing, stamping, shipping product, receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming product or material, and arranging for transportation of product.Primary Responsibilities:Receives and verifies incoming materials, products, and supplies for proper quantitiesReceives and processes raw material (including bar stock and castings) which involve lifting and or moving materials up to 60 pounds.Pulls parts and castings for work orders.Packs materials or products into proper shipping containers.Packs materials or products into proper shipping containers, places labels on shipping containers and completes proper shipping documents.Counts and records physical inventory of materials, supplies, and products.Loads and unloads product shipments.Completes shipping and receiving documents.Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.Over 40 hours per week as scheduled to meet business needs.All other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business.Some Holiday hours may be required based on business needWorking extended shifts/overtime as required by the businessBasic Qualifications:Basic computer skills – keyboarding, navigation skills.Preferred Qualifications:Quality control analysis.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management.Education/CertificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Nothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
