Come and experience your future!This role is for an experienced Security Administrator responsible for providing the overall on-site security auditing and support of the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS). The Security Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for monitoring the security at.The ALIS Security Administrator uses automated auditing tools augmented with manual processes to ensure auditing meets system accreditation requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitor and review security audit logs Standalone and ancillary system auditing and audit archiving Assist with hardware sanitization for equipment removal Hardware control inventory General IA Security monitoring Maintaining security documentation Monitoring system security configuration Train junior Security Administrators on system security operations, processes, and proceduresThe Security Administrator may also perform administrative security duties to include: handle and store classified documents and media; enforce local security procedures and practices; monitoring compliance with various security disciplines (e.g., COMSEC); assist with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change classified container combinations and generate applicable paperwork; and assist in security investigations.This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week—which may include weekends—as dictated by mission requirements.Phase I of this tasking is in support of the stand-up Italian Navy’s F35B STOVL program and training of their personnel. Phase 2 extends the tasking to a two-year expat assignment is Southern Italy. Phase 2 is a preferred but optional assignment.Basic Qualifications:Candidates must hold an active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 6 years and be able to attain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.The successful candidate will: Have, or be able to obtain, and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security) Be knowledgeable about security patching (e.g., IAVAs, IAVBs, IAVAMs, antivirus signatures, security definitions, etc.) and effects on the system Be familiar with security controls, aware of security incidents, alert to vulnerabilities Experienced with Windows events and error codes Be willing to work varied shifts and flexible schedules to meet customer mission requirementsDesired Skills:In addition to the basic requirements above, the successful candidate may have one or more of the following: Prior Information security or system administration experience Current Security+, CySA+, or CCNA Security certification Familiarity with SPLUNK or other auditing tools is a major plus Knowledgeable of Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) manuals or DOD manuals 5205.07, volumes 1 through 4.
