Director of Rooms

 We are seeking a visionary and goal-oriented Director of Rooms to join our luxury resort in Puerto Rico. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Experience Management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape exceptional guest experiences in the iconic Fairmont El San Juan Hotel.Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Rooms Division, ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellenceOversee and optimize front office operations, including reception, concierge, and bell/valet servicesManage housekeeping functions to maintain impeccable cleanliness and presentation throughout the propertyDevelop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive positive reviewsAnalyze key performance metrics and financial data to make informed decisions and improve departmental efficiencyCollaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpointsLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvementManage departmental budgets, control expenses, and optimize revenue generationStay abreast of industry trends and local tourism developments to maintain the property's competitive edgeEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and security regulations
