Planning and designing gas or electric transmission and distribution systems
Preparing detailed drawings
Supporting field operations in performing variety of equipment and systems testing; supporting engineering studies and analysis related to gas, electric, fossil hydro, solar, and other projects
Supporting installations of gas, electric, fossil hydro and solar equipment and projects
Reviewing and supporting project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and providing status reports.
2020 summer and fall positions are planned in Columbia, Charleston, Summerville, Aiken and Beaufort, SC.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Must have strong computer knowledge and skills with demonstrated ability to learn and utilize AutoCAD, GIS and Microsoft Office products.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and as a team.
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned work location and have reliable transportation.
Must be able to move about freely and perform field work.
Must be able to travel and work outside of normal business hours throughout the company service territory.
